CarFriend is a platform that connects car sellers with verified dealers through live auctions and One Click Buy (OCB) offers. CarFriend facilitates discovery, verification, and price discovery only — it is not a party to any sale, does not process payments between sellers and dealers, and does not handle RC (registration certificate) transfer.
Sellers must be the legal owner (or authorized representative of the owner) of any vehicle listed. Dealers must hold a valid, active subscription and complete KYC verification before bidding or listing.
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of the information and photos submitted during self-inspection. CarFriend's auto-grade and inspection summary are provided as a convenience and do not constitute a warranty of the vehicle's condition.
Bids placed by dealers during a live auction are binding offers, valid for the auction's stated duration. If an auction does not clear a price the seller finds acceptable, One Click Buy reopens the listing to all subscribed dealers for a time-limited, guaranteed-sale window as described in-app.
Once a seller and dealer agree a final price, all payment and RC transfer steps occur directly between them. CarFriend does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment, and is not responsible for disputes arising from off-platform transactions.
Dealer subscriptions are billed monthly via Razorpay and auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
CarFriend is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarFriend is not liable for losses arising from vehicle condition disputes, failed off-platform payments, or RC transfer delays between sellers and dealers.
Disputes between a seller and a dealer regarding a completed deal are the responsibility of those two parties. Disputes regarding the CarFriend platform itself will first be addressed through our support team, and if unresolved, through arbitration in accordance with Indian law.
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of CarFriend after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
